The Reverse Progression of Boundaries

It was written, devoid of human perception
That boundaries would be smashed,
Into glittering shards of light
Seen on a tiled floor, solidified in an image.
A thought, that the shade of light would not exist
Except for its counterpart of shadow.
Such is the universe when it is seen.
If there is the material, there is the immaterial.
Through logic, every possibility has a counterpart
And every dissection of the whole results in a component,
Until the core has been reached, and its opposite is found.
Here is where simplicity supposed to start,
Yet the complexity only increases,
And whether in reverse, or in forward progression,
Each dimension seems larger.
Nonetheless, the center would
Reasonably have a mathematical value of zero
If only for the sake of symmetry.
And yet the world cannot be compressed into one line of sight
One perspective may never encompass the entirety of the universe
And only one knows it in its completeness.
Perhaps then, to say that it is complete with regard to current definition
Would be severely lacking.
For the unfathomable vastness of the universe and all it contains
Is unable to fit in any sort of constraints,
Save that of our mind,
And that is only out of sheer necessity.
Take, for an instance, art.
Its definition is still subject to debate,
Especially as to what it encompasses.
Indeed, the universe itself, down to the last subatomic quark,
Is a masterpiece in and of itself.
And here are we, the conscious minds at the center of it all
Attempting to comprehend ourselves, to create order
Sectioning each experience and perception into a category,
Yet still conscience of the entire canvas.
If we did not have this knowledge,
This cognitive outlook at our surroundings,
Would we then be no more than
Ants scurrying about on the surface of the planet?
Perhaps these musings are no more than the face
Of another waste of time.
Regardless of the perspective from which it is seen,
The implications of time are those of movement, of progression
Perhaps my time would be better spent
Studying the institutions of society
So that I may endeavor to make a more lasting impression on people
Until the day I die.
As opposed to writing unimpressive words
On an unreasonably low traffic blog.
Perhaps I fool myself into thinking
There is some self-fulfillment to be had,
And like so many other things, it is an illusion.

Is this not a radial progression of boundaries as opposed to one going in reverse? Yes, it seems we are inherently beings of balance, the cosmos in our own mind seemingly yearns to return to that state, but aren't we by our very nature chaos? The mere existence of choice that is our greatest attribute, sets us to be each and every one of us movers. With each light of us on this earth, each action we make unwarranted, we set a ripple into the very fabric of that which holds existence. We pull and strain, and most likely it may rip one day.

Why don't you have a blog?
If those boundaries were indeed to take, or exist, in radial form there would still be the progressive movement in the form of turning. Even if the sense of direction were completely lost in this sense of the metaphysical, there would still exist the motion of turning in one direction, and it would only make sense that an opposite direction exist as well. Therefore, it only remains to apply the term "reverse" or "clockwise" as many people would have it once the opposite direction has been established as the standard. It is undeniable that we have great power in our ability to make choices, yet our choices are limited to a finite number by the very fact that we live in a world bound by unbreakable laws. For example, we could not suddenly decide to fly effortlessly across the landscape with no means of force, no action to create a reaction. Given thousands of years of human experience (exclusive of that which comes from the psychologically damaged mind), we are confined in this state of existence with its basic laws until some unforeseen supernatural power intervenes to change it.

Yes, we are confined to this state of existence, but not willingly or without struggle. Do we not now have airplanes which allow us to take to the skies if we so chose? Are children born to this world not free to take from their parents and then abandon them for their own free endeavors? We constantly seek to improve upon the fabric which we are bound to. One day we go too far and eventually destroy this fabric through our insatiable desire for progression. You speak of balance as if it is eternal, as if it is a state to be attained. True balance is impossible, we can only seek to deviate as near as we can to what true balance is. The universe will swing from one end to the other, becoming balance for once-split of a second. Does not all motion originate from a single act? Does not multiple actions join to create chaos? A single act created light, but without a second act there would be no darkness. If both were created simultaneously there would be no struggle, no swinging, no movement. Balance is an eternal existence of equality.
